We offer many individual and group classes in music and dance for children and adults. Classes meet every week and our monthly rates are very reasonable. Call 212-722-8223 to sign up.
Individual Lessons
Piano Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday by appointment
One-on-one instruction, from basic keyboard skills to advanced jazz and classical.
Voice Monday through Thursday, Saturday by appointment
Individual instruction in vocal technique, as well as classical and jazz repertoire.
Guitar Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday by appointment
One-on-one lessons in classical, jazz, and rock/pop guitar, electric or acoustic.
Bass/Cello Thursday by appointment
Private lessons in acoustic or electric bass.
Woodwinds Tuesday by appointment
Saxophone, Clarinet, and Flute lessons are available, for beginners and advanced players.

Individual instruction in drum-set technique and reading rhythms, with emphasis on jazz.

Drama Class Saturday 3:30pm
Marcus E. Dargan an accomplished actor, director, pianist and singer will direct our Drama workshop and teach students to act and write their own scripts. For children ages 7-Teen. Classes are held every Saturday at 3:30pm.
Adult Sight Singing/ Theory Wednesday 7pm
Andrei Carriere leads a class for adult musicians of all ages and experience levels.
Adult Vocal Ensemble Wednesday 8pm
Instructor Andrei Carriere focuses on repertoire development and group singing techniques. Contemporary jazz and standards are performed in unique arrangements for 4 or more voices.
Junior Jazz Ensemble Thursday 4-5pm
John Robinson leads a combo of 7-17 year-olds on all instruments playing jazz standards and contemporary arrangements. Knowledge of an instrument and basic note reading is required.
Children's Chorus Friday 4-5pm
Children ages 7-14 develop vocal technique and harmony and learn a varied repertoire of Jazz, folk music, and contemporary urban compositions. Singers' choreography is part of the class. Instructor: Gloria DeNard.
Summer Programs
SummerTAM July 9-August 24, 2007 (5 days a week)
A seven week summer program of instruction in Theater, Dance, and Music for children ages 8-15 which culminates in a rousing outdoor performance. Including weekly field trips.
